Everything You Need to Know
How long does it take to dry clothes?
It depends on what you hang. With the fans running, and Heat on the Aero and Stratos, light everyday washing such as shirts, tops, school uniforms and underwear is usually dry in around two hours.
Heavy items hold far more water. Jeans, hoodies, towels and bedding take longer and are best run overnight. A cold or humid room slows drying, and a fast spin in the washer speeds it up. The fans and heater switch themselves off after two hours, so start them again for heavy loads.
Because clothes hang rather than tumble, they come off the rack dry and flat, with no shrinkage and no heat damage.
Will it work with my ceiling type?
Nuracom systems are compatible with standard plasterboard, timber, and concrete ceilings — which covers the vast majority of Australian homes. The mounting brackets are included with every purchase, and our installation guide covers all common ceiling types. If you're unsure, our support team can advise before you buy.
How much weight can it hold?
The Breeze holds up to 35kg, the Aero up to 40kg, and the Stratos up to 45kg of wet laundry. To put that in context, a full washing machine load of wet clothes typically weighs 8–12kg — so even the Breeze can handle 2–3 full loads at once. The obstruction sensing system also prevents overloading.
Is it noisy?
No. Nuracom uses ultra-silent motors specifically engineered to operate below conversational volume. You can run it while watching TV, sleeping, or working from home without noticing it. This was a non-negotiable design requirement for us — a noisy drying system defeats the purpose of home convenience.
Do I really not need a tradesperson to install it?
Correct — no electrician or tradesperson needed. The system plugs into a standard Australian power outlet and the ceiling mount uses standard bracket fixings (all included).
Every unit ships with a detailed video walkthrough, a printed step-by-step manual, and access to our Australian-based support team if you get stuck at any point. Installation works with standard plasterboard, timber, and concrete ceilings.

Absolutely love this thing. Bought it a couple months back and it’s genuinely one of the best purchases I’ve made for the house.
